TARDIS CORAL DEFINITION AND EXPLANATION
Many of my friends have been asking me, "what the heck is up with TARDIS coral?"
Is the ship made of TARDIS coral?
Answer: NO
Answer: A TARDIS is grown from Gallifreyan Coral, but it is not made of it.
TARDIS Coral:
A TARDIS is grown from an initial block math created form of Genetically engineered Coral substance. The coral is essentially the brain of a TARDIS ship, as it is necessary for there to be an organic computational format needed to perform the complex mathematical computations necessary for block math transfer, the use of mathematical formulas to define matter and the creation of matter with use of Atron Energy. Arton energy i

Writing Prompt: Wishful Thinking
Part One: General Wish
A genie offers to grant you a single wish. Trouble is, this genie is of the type who twists things around if you do not phrase your wish with care. He will also take great offense if you reject his offer, so you must wish for something.
What do you wish for, and how do you phrase the wish?
And what, in spite of your care, could go wrong with that wish?
Part Two: Dream Job
Think of a job you would love to have, from the most mundane jobs of our world to the fantastic jobs from whatever fandoms you're part of, and anything in between.
How might you be invited to interview for such a job? How would the interview play

Time Travel Writing Prompt--My Own Grandpa
This prompt can apply to any time travel story, but I've written it with Doctor Who and Torchwood in mind.
Now, then, fellow Whovians all know that Jack Harkness, will, to use Toshiko's phrasing, "Shag anything if it's gorgeous enough." And who knows how many partners the Doctor's had or will have--he flirts often enough in the reboot, but unlike Jack, he's usually inclined to be more modest, or so it seems, about any off-screen relationships.
And, of course, there are any number of time travelers in other fandoms, or original characters written by anyone who sees fit to write a time travel story.
With all of this time travel, the question

New Who Timelines
Also Known As "When did that episode occur?"
With this list, let us assume that
(a) the Doctor did not go back and fix a certain mistake from Season 1,
(b) there are no convoluted explanations for why the episodes take place in any order other than when they aired (besides those specifically mentioned within the show), and
(c) the Doctor did not travel to a given date unless specifically mentioned as such within the episode.
And with those assumptions, let us determine when certain episodes should have taken place.
If anyone can confirm that a "current" episode mentioned when it took place, in any of the shows, or even if l

Doctor Who headcanon--Regeneration
Regeneration Limits
A Time Lord is, under normal circumstances, limited to regenerating 12 times, resulting in 13 incarnations.
Initially suggested in Classic Who (The Deadly Assassin), and contradicted in Sarah Jane Adventures (Death of the Doctor). However, as Rule 1 states that "The Doctor lies," even my own preference for taking Doctor Who over spin-offs proves nothing.
It is later finally confirmed in The Time of the Doctor, when the Time Lords provide an exception to that rule by providing him with a brand new cycle of regenerations.
There are also hints throughout the series that Time Lords have other ways to acquire new regenerations,

Doctor Who headcanon--Canon
What is canon in Doctor Who?
Doctor Who began over 50 years ago, and in that time, has gone through a variety of changes.
We have had changes in actors, scriptwriters, producers, etc.
We have multiple series of books, alternate universes, and retcons.
We have details in one story that totally contradict another.
Some people might say that Doctor Who officially has no canon, precisely because of these changes.
Well, these people might have a point, but I disagree. After all, what "rules" are you following to write a Doctor Who story? What exactly are you including that makes it Doctor Who, and not some random science fiction story that you c

Doctor Who Writing Prompt: Musical Torchwood
The Doctor, Torchwood, and/or Unit is faced with an alien parasite of unusual properties.
This parasite spreads itself on soundwaves. But not just any sound; due to the way the human brain works, the parasite can only spread on music.
So to ensure its species' reproductive capabilities, the parasite demonstrates another strange ability property: the ability to compel its hosts to sing. Not necessarily to sing well, just to sing. Someone who "can't carry a tune in a bucket" would theoretically be as vulnerable as anyone with talent.
Okay, fanfiction writers: there's your prompt. Now get to it! Be as silly or as serious as your plot requires
